I completely agree , but I didn't take any of his money , I gave him 9 thousand dollars cash and the quote I gave him for the work paid in full in trade for his 2009 Pontiac G8 , it was in contract on the bill of sale when the truck had to be finished by and that date is still 2-3 weeks away . But agree it is the 100% best practice .
No disrespect ment trent i guess i didnt have all the facts theres alot of people out there ripping people off all the time,I have been on the wrong side a few times and it burns. My appoligies

I paid you retail for the car , you didnt do me a favor it just work out good for both of us .

Just wanted to say for the record I did give you a good deal I paid $32,500 had another $1,500 in a full body clear bra and another $700 in gauges. Was in perfect condition and sold it for $22,000 to you. Which KBB says high book is $26,640 and low is $23,040. But I'm completely happy with my end and I think you were too but I just didn't want you to think I was ripping you off is all. :)

Glad we talked tonight Jake and apologize for running late and all I can do is try to make surer the end product is worth the wait , we will get this figured out just wish a call or avenue would have taken place before thing went south for a short minute , but as with many things in life when both sides of the story are lade out and both perspectives are discussed progress is made .

Yeah I'm excited to see the end product I know it will be a lot of fun and I'll sure be using it :) Thanks again Trent

To the O/P....Trent is good on his word, and does good work. An 8 week timetable is very fast for a build on a truck. Delays do happen, so you should not expect any more than that from a one-man shop, esp working the hours he has been lately.

I have seen other shops take 6 months to over a year to finish a truck, so count yourself lucky.

I do consider myself lucky he does great work and you're probably right with 8 weeks being fast soon it will be done and I'll have nothing to say but how great the truck is so I guess if I have to wait 8 weeks for it then so be it. I'm just excited as anyone would be to have the triple kit set up. There are only a few that have it right now anyways.

Well custom parts are great but you're right on the wait time. Plus this weather has been a joke. Then I can only imagine how long it takes with having a family and kids cause you want to always be there for them. But I hope you get to finish it soon I'll be curious on what you do and how it looks.

Yeah you're right there. What are you doing to your truck? When mine is done it will probably be 2.5 months since I drove it but the half of month was my own doing.

building the motor. bent a rod so its time for some stronger stuff. have to wait till i buy my house though as a 7k loan wont help me on a house loan
