need help to cool down tranny temp

hi guys im running a LMM with PPE stage 6 with PPE(mike L) trans cooler w/ 5/8 hoses PPE deep pan w/1055 suncoast and my temp is at 200-210-220* with QuatraSyn oil...what else can i do to cool it down ?? and how hot QuatraSyn can take ? do i need to put another cooler w/fan ?

just cruising down the road is about 200-205 but after a couple of hard shift it climb to 215....can't wait to go at the track but im worry about the temp

ok when i check the level at 180* i look the lowest side of the gauge right ?? im level..... so i drain fluid out anyway ??

If you have a deep pan you can run the fluid below the bottom of the low hot mark. Set the level somewhere in the cold zone.

with my trans ive found its best to have a little less fluid than too much.

the white truck trans will cruise around 160-170 on the highway when it was 100-105* outside and hot lapping it will go to 190-200 and chill there. even on my back to back 10 sec passes.

Obviously this helps and is the thing to do, just a curious mind and wondering why. Normally more fluid helps keep a system cooler. Is the extra fluid causing extra pressure (pressure = heat), foaming (causing lack of lubrication or cavitation), or?

Just seems weird.
