well you see guys the things is i can only slide the bridge on if i have the nuts off of the bottom but the problem then is the fact that my hand cant reach between the turbo and the bridge to get the nuts on.

Loosen the studs up enough to leave the nuts on. Then slide the bridge on. Run the nuts down with your finger or a screw driver. Use what ever you need to tighten. Usually on the front an extra long wrench works. On the back a wobble joint and a long extension may be needed.

We have longer stud kits available if needed.

Put some paper towel on the nut and squeeze it in the socket so it doesn't fall out. Or use a magnet

^^ this is what I do, a piece of paper towel over the end of socket and push the nut into and then tear excess towel off around the edges so you can still see and works good then..

it worked guys i managed to get the bottom two rear nuts on. thanks for all the help. those two top rear bolts are a pain as well. the front housing of the turbo protrudes so far you i cant manage to get the proper angle to get them in properly and i dont want to misalign it and strip the threads.:(

I had to use a wrench, pull the heat shield, and loosen the turbo mounting bolts to get the those top rear bolts.

Update: i managed to get those top two rear bolts in but i could not for the life of me get in those two front lower nuts onto those studs. i put everything back together and drove the truck and my boost gauge is reading 30lbs at wide open throttle, however when i do hit 30lbs it sounds like there is a hiss under my hood. im not sure if i am hearing the spooling of the turbo or if there is a leak. prior to this on the stock setup when the y bridge elbow was partially out i would only make 15lbs and it would hiss like CRAZY under there so i knew i had a leak. i dont think the gauge is faulty cause it is registering the pressure reading. if i had a leak i wouldnt be able to hit that 30psi on the gauge would I?? thank you all for your help it has been of great assistance!

You can still have a leak. Sounds like you didn't install the nuts you were saying you couldn't get on the stud. That's your problem. Need to put all the parts on

I hadnt put in the two front lower nuts onto the studs because i read elsewhere to put silicone around the front of the bridge which i am doing now. but how the hell do you get those two nuts on the front studs?? that shit is a pain in the ass:mad:

yeah they both have their pros and cons i guess. the stock one installs easy as pie. it has a nasty boost leak when i boost leak tested it. i guess i might just have to pull the turbo to get those nuts on those two front studs as that is where it is leaking from.

I used a long 1/2" flex head ratchet and a pipe cheater bar to break them loose, all but one done through the passenger side wheel well. There was one that I used a regular 3.8" ratchet and a crow bar to lever up the end of the ratchet using the back of the engine/top of transmission to lever against and get it broke loose. If you were close I'd give you a hand.
