Hope to see yours on the track, Do you think your tranny will hold the power? What are the low end torque numbers in your best estimation. We're one of the quicker dmax's around, would be fun to line up against your truck.
hp/tq number are just a guesstimate right now . i do know a similar combo that was made by the same shop made over 800 rwhp @ 12 psi. and a kit with gt-30 turbos on a stock 5.3 also made over 800 rwhp.
1000 shouldnt be too hard. im planning on going up to 22 psi if the turbos can push it. i setup this motor to take alot of cylinder pressure.
im hoping the trans holds i know well built 4l80e can withstand the 1200-1300 area.

holy batman that's the same built i wanna do to my truck. but i wanted to go with a 496 BBC. Your truck sounds awesome man. Please keep us informed on the tranny. so far mines taking alot of abuses and still going
not much reason to go with big block when the lsx blocks can go to 500 cu in if so desired. the weight saving and time of making the big block work alone wouldnt offset the costs.
not to mention i kept all the creature comfortsas far as a/c,power steering , etc this will be a completely streetable truck .

That SS is gonna be brutal. Friend of mine is running an oversized supercharger with reprogramming. That thing will make your cheeks pucker. I couldn't imagine what this will do.
