My turn to crack a piston

Well, after 4 years my motor cracked a piston a couple days ago. Motor has crower rods, cut uncoated lb7 pistons, valve springs, and head studs. Counted 257 time slips below 11.2. Over half of those were in the 10's. Weight of the truck typically was around 7300 with me in it. Odd time I pulled seats and hitch, but never really made a difference. Trying to decide what to change if anything this time around.

Sorry to hear it let go, but at least it had a long life and made a lot of passes. You thinking about trying some monotherms?

Kelly that was a straight bare minimum build and it performed awesome... Makes me wonder if all the extra shit is worth it. Good luck on the next one :D

Sorry to hear Kelly :( Maybe try the Monotherms or the fancier cast Mahles? Were you racing on Friday? I was gonna go but it was pouring at my place.
