It really does stiffen it up before its bolted to something but is not needed once the ends are bolted to a fixed point. If the angles are correct there will only be a pulling force (elongation) on it and bracing will do nothing for that;)

Maybe so. But it's cheap insurance for me. Because every setup isn't the same. If some has a bad mount or something that little bit of bracing could buy them some time. Maybe not but it makes me feel better :)

I got mine in today Jordan! The pic doesn't do it justice. This thing really looks nice. The only thing I would've done different is....well....um...NOTHING.
NUMERO TRES! :beer


Now if only I can find time to install it! (my guys fried a multi-thousand dollar fire pump controller today!!!:giveup:)
