Matt what color interior are you putting in? It looks tan, or are the pictures just deceiving? If I remember right you said you were doing a light grey which is why I ask.

Very cool.

Thanks

Truck looks great man! :thumb:

you aren't going to leave the rubber floor liner in? would be pretty damn cool to have rubber floor with a deluxe interior, kinda make people ask questions...

Nah, I think carpet+ weathertechs are easier to keep the floor looking clean. Plus I like the sound dampening the carpet floors provide. I get asked quite a few questions as is just about the exterior.

It's the light grey, not that really light tan. The pictures it looks tan for some reason but it's not.

Alright I was hoping it wasn't. I had tan in my old Cummins I had and that was the worst thing about that truck. I would never own another tan interior lol.

Truck looks great man

Did you ever find a drive shaft for the cc? Did you have a video of the pull and how far did you go?

Yeah not a fan of light color interior.

The video of the pull is on Facebook but I don't have one. I went 291 feet, track was crap and people were hopping all over the place all night long. I needed traction bars but was there to have fun.... I would start hopping so I would brake a little and it would stop but start as soon as I left off again.

Haven't found a driveshaft yet, might just have the place that shortened my steel shaft on the regular cab build me a steel one for the Crew. They weren't very expensive either.

Care to elaborate on your interior swap knowledge? I have a full Denali interior (seats, dash, console, column, doors, harness, BCM, etc) that I will eventually get around to putting in my LBZ and I've been curious what it is going to take to make it all work. I think mine will be a little more involved, since it has adjustable pedals and auto climate control and all that good stuff, but I'd be happy if I was wrong.

And your post about the floor shift and console just made me realize I'm screwed on that part too. :(

Depends on the year Denali it came out of and if it had stabilitrak or not. For mine I needed everything including the front light harness, entire dash, dash harness and harnesses that ran to the seats, and the harness that runs to the engine fuse box. floor shift won't be a huge deal.

The alligator lines were easy once the old ones were out. That was the hardest part.

Didn't really plan on doing anything to the motor unless it lets go for some reason or I crack a piston. I want to do the trans this winter though.

Ended up doing the tie rods, pitman and idler last weekend. This picture is from yesterday

must be nice being able to use this truck for work and not have to wash your crew cab every other day from jobsite dirt.

It is nice, I have driven the CC maybe 500 miles since spring though.

I'd love to have one myself lol. is it leveled or lifted any?

Just stock keys are cranked a little bit. I may put a Cognito 7-9 on the other truck and put the 4-6 on this one.

Its not that I am against lifted trucks. I have had several with lifts. But reg cab short beds don't look right lifted. They are too short to pull it off.
