Finally got the 2011+ HD wheels on after 3 tries sending the wrong spacers

Where did you get the spacers, and what are the "correct" ones? Ive been looking and looking for 20's but everything is to "off road" for my taste and i love the stock 20"s.

Ebay I got a set of 4 2" spacers 8x6.5 to 8x180 for 170 shipped I think?

are nice billet spaces? you wouldn't happen to know the name of the vendor would you?

This is who I bought them from. Make sure to send him a message though. He has some new kid working in the warehouse sending wrong things out left and right

Got the new interior in for the most part to the point where I could do some testing since my harness came out of a 2004 Z71 suburban.

-lights work, signals work, windows roll up and down, and heater and a/c controls work how they should.

-power seats aren't working. don't know what the deal is there.

-my tapshifter wires are shot. they are litterally worn through and when I pulled the steering column I found out why I had to pull back on the shifter to get it into tow/haul.

I was hoping it was going to be plug and play but that's not the case. I don't have any communication with the vehicle via the obd2 port. The suburbans harness is a little bit different than the LBZ harness so I think its going to have to come back out and either I modify it or I send it to Ben. I tried calling him earlier today. Wiring isn't really my forte' and I'd rather have someone that knows what the hell they are doing tackle the job.

Wanted to get it back together tonight but I need to talk to someone who is more intelligent than I when it comes to wiring.

Also I need to look at some diagrams to see what is all different for the pigtail going to the ECU, that seems to be the big problem.

You put the body module In from suburban? It may need prigramed

Yes, I thought the BCM controlled the interior functions separate from the ECU. Everything in the interior seems to function properly apart from thepower seats.

As for the ECU I looked at the OBD2 port and compared them and the suburban has two less wires. There are two tan wires for the LBZ that I believe run straight to the ECU from OBD2.

edit: from what I understand on a standard OBD2 purple is always the Data Line, then there are two grounds (black, black/white)and then orange is +12 battery. I just can't find any schematics for the LBZ

That makes sense. I'm missing the High Speed LAN serial data wires + and - wires. Were those only put in 06+ vehicles?
.
So I need to wire in those from the OBD2 through the firewall to the plug that goes to the front side of the fuse box to the from there the harnesses were all retained and should go the the GPCM, TCM and ECM.

I guess I need to get on ALLDATAdiy.com and start going through the LBZ harness vs. my 2004 Suburban harness

Anyone have Ben's cell? I had it when we were talking early August back and forth but I wrecked that phone and lost my numbers. I know he's probably super busy but he made a harness for me awhile ago and I never got around to getting it from him.

edit: I just sent him an email, seems to be the best way to get ahold of him

I'm just putting this in here so it's easy for me to find later.

I did some wiring last night. On the C100 Multiple Junction Connector the LBZ and Suburban had a bunch of wires that had to be moved. I had to add the Wait to start wire that goes from the cluster pin A2 IIRC to PIN E on the C100, the High Speed GM LAN + and - wires. With those there were two wires occupying the pins on the suburban side, in pin F it was a Dampening Lift/Dive Signal where the + High speed Lan needed to be and pin G was a MIL control that needed to be moved to PIN J for the LBZ then the - High Speed LAN went in the G position.

Then C102 Multiple Junction Connector the wires are all different and nothing seems to match up but that is for the trailer and the LBZ has a CHMSL in pin J that the Suburban harness didn't have.

I checked the 30amp seat fuse and it was fine, still didn't figure out the seats why they don't have power. I put a probe on the portions of the harness that I cut off after the drivers seat to go the the rear of the cabin on the suburban and I'm getting power to some of those wires (I'm assuming the keyed and +12v wires)

Got the truck to start and stay running once, I shut it off and didn't get it to keep running again even after I unhooked the batteries for 10 minutes. Seems like I have a bad connection somewhere.

I hooked the V2 up and I don't have any codes besides the ones for deleting my intake heater grid and EGR, along with a glow plug 6 relay.

Why did you need to use the saburbans engine harness or am I miss reading this?

Or did you use the fuse box and other harnesses from the burnban? Could possibly be missing a ground for the front seats power.... I'd try using a test light or meter and figure out which wires are grounds were you cut the harness

Didn't use the suburbans engine harness or fuse box, just the dash harnesses from the suburban so that I could have dual climate control, SRS airbags in the seats, power seats, heated seats, courtesy lights, etc.

That C100 plug is under the fuse block in the engine compartment and the dash harness plugs into that. The dash harness has a 7 mm bolt in the middle of the large connector that goes into the fuse box under the hood.

Then I'd start with the wires you cut I'm betting some of them need grounded....

As for the engine not running if you didn't mess with the engine or fuse box I don't see why it wouldn't start and run.. unless it needs something from the bcm

I had to replace the C1 connector from the duramax interior harness with the C1 connector from the suburban harness in the fuse box under the hood.

I'm comparing the pin locations now. I'm pretty certain the Fuses for the Duramax ECM aren't in the same location as they are on the Suburban ECM so I might have to jump some wires around in the C1 connector from the suburban.

Also had to swap the C4 connector because the suburban has two impact sensors on the front of the frame instead of just one. But That connector is mostly for the headlights, signals, etc and it all works correctly.

I went through all the wiring schematics and I've got a few things to change yet.

Maybe I'll get it there tomorrow.
