Truck showed up today. Some things are better than I thought, some are worse. The core support is fine, and the intercooler might be okay too. We'll see

The bad-ish news, whole truck is going to get re-sprayed so I better decide on a color.

It's either white, pearl white, arrival blue or graystone metallic.

I vote arrival blue. That's the only color I wish I had. I really liked the greystone metallic on my LBZ, but Andrew's new paint on his LB7 really makes me like it more.

Hey now! It looks better than a lot of blues I've seen. Though I will admit the blue Toyota used on the similar era Tundras looks even better.

Anyone have an idea how much lighter a qs bed is vs. a regular fleetside?

Quadrasteer is stepside right? Beds are light, I wouldn't think more than 50 lbs fromt he difference in the inside/outside skirts of sheetmetal.

Not a stepside, they just have flaired out fenders due to the wider rear axle.

I gotcha, Yeah the bedside are a little wider but I got the entire bed for 700 and its completely straight no cracks or anything.

Me and the guy I bought it from had no issues picking it up and putting it on my trailer.

Super light compared to my buddy's long bed we had to take off his 98 Cummins.

Got it taken apart some today. The way it hit I'm going to have to replace the rad, a/c condenser and intercooler. Oh well, that's what I expected.
