They un bolted the belt and no aftermarket stereo.

Little update on one of the suspects that played a part in stealing my truck. He was shot and killed yesterday by police. Wasnt given details other then that. One less criminal out there now.

That is great! Got him out of the loop the cheap way, didn't have to spend but 40cents on a 9mm round instead of him going thru the court system and eating 100,000's of your tax dollars...

Just a little update on the truck. Had it dropped off a week ago so I can started working on things that I can while I wait on the motor being built.

Pulled off all the insulation on the fire wall. Cleaned all the soot and whatnot off the fire wall as well. Drained the remaining 12 gallons of fuel out of the stock tank, so I can eventually pull that and started getting the fuel cell in. Next step is to pull the bed off and drop the factory tank and then we can go from there.

Bought a Fuelab lift pump awhile ago, that I will be mounting next to the fuel cell and running all new lines. New fuel cooler is on the list but not sure what route im going just yet. Fixing all the cut wires for the parking lights is another item to fix, the list goes on.

Well factory fuel tank is out. All factory lines are gone as well, and the fuel cooler. Hoping to get the truck to the fab shop to get the fuel cell, trans coolers and fuel cooler put in there final resting spot. Also trying to sell my S472sxe/.87/1.0 and go to a S480 single.

Pulled the lower control arm brace and cleaned it up a bit. Also the front diff is leaking where the halves meet up and the outter seals need to get replaced. Ive replaced the outter seals 3 times and they still leak. Frustrating! Any tips or tricks to these seals?

Well talked to Scott today at SDP. Motor build is still a ways out. They just got a motor build back from socal diesel that has been there for about 15 months. So it will be awhile from what he was telling me, and Im okay with that. Quality takes time and with a 7.1 stroker it will be worth the wait.

All this means is that I have more time to save up the funds and get parts I already have for the truck installed.

Stopped by the local fab shop last week and discussed the fuel cell install. Also discussed trans cooler mounting and fuel cooler. That's the latest and greatest on my end.

Well, since the weather was good, I decided to remove the 17-year-old body mounts.

Replaced them with S&B mounts and the updated GM Hydraulic mount for the postion#3.

Found what looks like some sort of spacer on top of the driverside rad support mount. Didn't find anything on the passengerside. It's kind of weird.

Gonna clean up the pos#3 lower spacer (surface rust) before I lock it down.

Everything fit nicely, and installation was easy, especially the rad support mounts. There's nothing in the way up there right now .

My oldest boy, Jake (12), said he can't wait for truck to be running again. It's gonna be so much faster. I told him it's gonna be wild!

Little update on the motor build. Scott was told by Guy that my motor could be finished up at the end of May.
All parts are there to finish it up, so that is good. The waiting game continues, which I'm fine with. Getting excited, fellas. It's been to long!

When is it supposed to go in for paint?

I guess the backhanded question to that is, when do you expect to be done :devilish:
I'm hoping it goes in for body/paint before the end of summer. I'm hoping to have it all done by the end of this year. That's my best guess as of now.
