Lmao i suppose this was a lost cause well it could be worse. The trains at work burn something like 8 gallons per minute in notch 8 (full throttle)

How long have you been tracking it? Add it up over a month & average it out. Too many variables to just go off a tank here & there

Honestly man mine did better after built trans and turbo, I averaged 19-21 if not driving like a dick. HOWEVER lol after 20x12's and 33" MT's I was getting 12mpg. I think that heavy ass lift and wheel and tire combo is what is dragging your mpg down. Tuning has a lot to do with it as well, not saying moonshine tunes are bad at all honestly I don't know anything about them other than people love em or hate em. Since I have marks turbo I went with marks tuning it only made sense to me! But anyway I think it's your heavy ass cosmetic upgrades cause the same thing happened to me

Lbz, built trans, efi by Eisenhart diesel, Danville 68, full egr delete, mbrp down pipe, 5" mbrp to 7" stack, ppe guages, custom traction bars, airdog2 165, ppe fuel rail mods, s&b, age blade runner, Arp head studs..died March 2015

Yea i expected better mpg with the turbo possibly but yea big wheels and tires dont help obviously. I wanted to try other tuners, specifically mark since he knows the turbo. And just the curiosity i have to see how and if it would run any different. Not for mpg but for performance. But i bought my tuning before most of these up grades and there fore im absolutely stuck with moonshine unless i want to drop the money on another autocal or a v2. Not to say my truck runs bad. It runs as good as i think it should. But at the same time i havnt rode in any other efi tuned duramaxes really to compare it. I know its far superior than stock tuning and box tuners. And tony had always been great to me i can't complain

I've used all kinds of different tuners. You won't go wrong with Mark and his have yielded me the best MPG. I took a 750mile one way trip to Mass in January of this year. Same tune as it goes down the track on and averaged 19.5mpg running 70-80mph the entire way and messing with toll boths. It was -21° when I left and got up to -8° when I got there.

I put 285/70/17 back on my truck and MPG didn't drop anything significant. Either you are driving it harder or injectors are on their way out. Balance rates might still be good, but they're still worn enough to dribble.

Wish i wouldn't have got an autocal. It would be nice to try different tuners. Again nothing against tony, his tunes have served me very well and he's good at what he does. Great to work with too. I just like having options. I would be interested in seeing what marks tunes would be like. Anyhow is there any way to specifically pin point bad injectors? Balance rates are decent on them. Worst one is like 3 and the rest are within +-2. If i can verify them needing replaced it would give me a good excuse to but some oversized ones in
