Pretty easy to put together if you have any welding experience.

The kit basically jigs itself together starting at the frame mounts to center section, then two mid pieces, then the outer wings that wrap around.

I had no problems with fitment on my LBZ Chev

I helped a friend weld up one for a '98 half ton Chevy pickup. He had already started on it before he came over to the shop for my help, and some of the pieces weren't lined up the best. I would say the most important thing is to take your time making sure all the joints are right before starting to weld. His turned out nice, but when we smoothed the welds, the corners weren't perfectly in line where the different planes of the bumper met. It wasn't super noticeable, but since I did a lot of the grinding, I noticed it. Overall, it was a nice kit though.

Thanks guys, I have a haggard cut up OEM plastics fender and rusted chrome bumper now, so when I priced out replacement OEM stuff with prep/paint, it wasn't cheap.

Figure my time is free so welding up a bumper and tossing a heavy coat of black epoxy is cheaper. :D

Do any of you have a side view of a truck with their bumper? Want to get an idea of how much it juts out past the grill. Hate the underbite look of most steel bumpers.

If you search google you can find several images and even a few how too's

Did one on a 16 ram 2500. Not bad for the price. Some of the "add on options" are ridiculous though...

They appear to be cut on a High Definition Plasma. As mentioned, Take your time. Some parts require extra prep to make them fit right.

Well, only took a few months, but finally pulled the trigger on one. Hope to have it this week and get the welder buzzing :thumb:

Looking now for a skid plate for the front plastic, any ideas?

Looks like it turned out pretty good. The gap between the bumper and grille would bother me though.

it looks like before you weld it, you could opt to put that plate in backwards for the desired effect... maybe? I'd prefer solid blank; I don't need to advertise for free :) It looks really good though, I like it!

The center section is one way works so no go on welding backwards etc.

My plan, pending how things go is to cut out the logo and weld in brackets for a light bar. As much as I hate the things, I really dislike that logo. :D

And yet neither of us even considered running our required front license plate. Lmao.
