I helped a friend weld up one for a '98 half ton Chevy pickup. He had already started on it before he came over to the shop for my help, and some of the pieces weren't lined up the best. I would say the most important thing is to take your time making sure all the joints are right before starting to weld. His turned out nice, but when we smoothed the welds, the corners weren't perfectly in line where the different planes of the bumper met. It wasn't super noticeable, but since I did a lot of the grinding, I noticed it. Overall, it was a nice kit though.
