06 cclb broke tie rod at track 2nd after my buddy bought it. Loaded truck on car trailer backwards. No weight on the truck. No trailer brakes. I think I hit 75 or 80 mph a few times about a 25 mile trip so it wasn't to bad

Hmm....I grossed 34K with my dads 06 F350 6leaker, pulling a gooseneck dump trailer loaded with corn. I forget how many bushel i had but it was heavy! I didn't realise i had that much on it untill i crossed the scales, use to have the slip but not sure where it is now.

Hitting tractor shows all over the place I gross around 28K pulling my gooseneck and 2 1956 John Deere 60's. Interstate speed is usually 75 (speed limit is 70 around here) but over that at times......I can post towing pictures all day long if you wish:thumb:

edit: there is a picture floating around on duramaxforum of a guy pulling a high track D5 on a tri-axle gooseneck behind a d-max, video of it to if i recall.

with 12-13k haulin steves truck we hit 85-90mph up a 6% grade with all gauges in a safe range.

Most ive hauled is 28k gross and could cruise 70mph. whould have to drop to 55 up steep hills though to keep from overheating or pegging the EGTs for too long

Like Kat said, Big Blue with a 502HP tune, towed Casper in a 28' enclosed trailer with spares to Texas and back (2500mi) at speeds of up to 85mph. Total trailer weight was >13k (6k + 6.4k + spares and tools). Blue was >8,500lb with the shell, people fuel. Probably about 22k total weight.

14 000 kilograms = 30 864.7167 pounds

From Edmonton to Windsor. Lets just say I made the trip in the ice cold at 31 hours stopped 5 times for fuel. You do the math on speed. PS each stop was more then 30 mins.

F250 CC/SB 4x4 on trailer from Gatlinburg, KY to Cincinnati, OH. 10,000lbs or so. 70+mph most of the way following Merchant pulling a 5th wheel. Found out tow/haul works very well in those mountains.

I towed a PC 75 on a two axle dual tire gooseneck rated for 20k, assuming the excavator weighed almost that. Could not find exact weight online of a metal track PC75 or of the gooseneck. I pulled it about 6 miles with my old truck, RC/LB got up to 65mph with it. :thumb:
