I see, ive got a set of LED in my high beams (not sure on brand) w/o a proj. housing and was kinda disapointed in the light output, I suppose a good set of bulbs and some projectors would make all the difference, my dad runs the morimoto kit in his LBZ and the light is great from it

I ran these in a stock smoked housing and it was okay. Not great. I have led high beams from eBay and they're actually extremely good little bulbs. And the morimoto low beams. But I switched to a black housing/clear lense with a reflector high beam and projector low beam and oh my lord these things are wicked.

What housings do you have? I wouldn't mind projector as long as they don't have gaylo rings

I have these Corbin. Really great quality piece. Very well built. I got them in eBay but I believe tony sells the same exact thing. Sure a retrofitted projector may be better but honestly these are great and I don't have that much money to buy new quality housings AND projector kit and the time to put it in. No complaints with these. And they accept the big led fan housings too.

I can post pics of them on the truck if you're interested

I'm not crazy about the housings I have now, just can't find anything I like.

Easiest way is to get eBay projector housings and swap better projectors in. That way they fit with less hassle.

I just saw this post, if you are going to swap bulbs then you need to change the housings to the ones that are designed for it. Putting LED's into a halogen housing isn't ideal. I did a Morimoto HID retrofit into some Denali headlights and have been very pleased with them vs just putting HID's into the stock headlight.

Not to derail this too far but who makes a good quality projector housing for trucks like mine-2016 Chevrolet?

I want to change my housings out to some projector ones with black trim instead of the chrome it has now. And add LED's.

I found some Anzo's at rockauto but buddy said they were shit in his lmm-poor light output and he suggested not wasting my money on them.

General consensus is you have to make your own. Get the projector kit and paint your housings and reinstall

Check out the retrofit source. They'll have some projectors that'll fit.

I don't want to paint really because of all the road sand/gravel we get here for half the year or better. 25000 miles and my front end is already chipped to hell.

I'd rather buy new that's already black. Same with the grille.
