TTS logo   Mine was just pretty PINK

Yeah, tell me about it:rolleyes: I did not buy the converter from TTS, it came from a guy on the forum that traded his truck in before he ever got a chance to install it. Anyways its blk and a tripple disk with yes the TTS logo:jerkit: Its my understanding that precision makes converters for Steve (TTS) and he re-sells them with his logo. My question is, is this a ML? or does it have different characteristics exclusive to TTS?

TTS are black. Steve wanted his converters to multiply a lot of tq. They ran hot and had problems. Terry hated building them as he disagreed with the tech that steve wanted.
When I comissioned the ML, I let Terry build it his way. He gave me what I wanted and it works very well.:happy2:

I'll not post info on this topic as I'm not a vender and I don't want a time out:D

Posting first hand info and experiences with products - both good and bad in a vendors forum is not a problem.
Posting where else you can buy the product a vendor is selling in his forum is.

Just to add to this praising of Mike and Precision Industries - I just did a trans build with a Precision ML converter and loved it. Pretty much same setup as Trent - stock turbo LB7 with lift pump and 500+hp tune. The fluid coupling on this converter is so much better than any SunCoast converter I have run or used. All around awesome converter for anyone with a stock to moderate sized turbo. They have a tighter version for LBZ+ trucks that want it or guys with small twins, and they have a looser version for those of us playing with big singles and twins. I haven't heard of any of them having the locking issue that other loose converters are having and I would say it is due to the converter doing it's job and using the coupling to bring slip RPM down to where the TCM is happy. The loose one will definately be the next mod done to my truck and I will be highly recommending a Precision Industries converter for every trans build from now on - and with a $200 savings over the SC I don't see why anyone will argue. Awesome job Mike and PI.:thumb:
