The ML is similar to the SC 1057 but about 150 rpm looser stall for easier launch. It couples very quickly.

So is this good for a daily driver, towing, etc. with sometimes a big tune loaded in to mess around?

I use this converter and almost everyday pull a job trailer and equipment for work and couldn't ask for a better all around converter. At the track it's very agressive out of the hole and dosen't require alot of boost or rpm to get going(1900-2000rpms and 8psi for me). Well if you have stock suspension like I do if you try and leave hard it blows the tires off and launches agressive, to agressive with stock suspension and 285's. I recomend this converter everytime I get asked about it. Very fun to drive and tows great. As far as tunes go, anything would work with it.

Yes. I have been very happy with my Precision ML converter. It does blow thru the brakes on a 2200rpm boosted launch, but hey...thats that 1st gear delete tunes are for, right?

Can Precision spec out a converter loose enough to spool a GT42 with a 1.28 housing (possibly going up to a 1.32 or 1.44 if drive pressure gets too high). I have the Fleece Ally Locker so I have lockup under control.

I have not had much luck with a second gear launch at the track while trying to bump into the staging beams and keep rpms/boost up.

rob has it at ATPTRUCKS.COM

Rob does not have my special converters.
You looking for another time out? The rules have changed. They double the time after every infraction. You may not be back for a year.
Why don't you go beat the shit out of your dog or something? Drugs are known to help also.:D

ML Precision converter will tow heavy loads extremely well. Mike definitely pointed me in the right direction for my truck. Tow tunes to over 500HP tunes are handled with no problems. No issues with almost 100,000 miles on mine.

There is a difference between your ML Precision converter and the ones that other places sell?

Yes and no. I had the ML done to my specs a couple of years ago and it does very well the way it is. I do have them adjusted to customers trucks when needed. I do have special converters for drag racing and sled pulling built for me that cannot be bought from PI directly.

Ok it sounds like for what I would need the standard ML would be fine. I just need to call you to get all the information, I don't know what I need.
