didn't realize it was a manual lol. I don't think there are many (if any at all) built manual dmaxes out there?
Yea.. its a hand shaker.. was gonna try and break the manual trans record. Maybe now so much now.. I'm not gonna drag it if that's what's gonna happen.
I don't think it will take much to do that, I want to say the fastest dmax manual was in the 11s and not that far into them.
I cant tell you anything about how to make it work, other than I think you are going into uncharted waters that everyone who competes avoids. :hug:
I know there was one guy on here that had a fast 6 speed, not sure if it was a built engine or not
bump..... anyone give me more insite on the needing or not needing billet main caps? I really don't want to NOT do it if I should.
In the 1000 hp range you should use something. Girdle, Billet mains and block fill are the items to consider. You do not need anything but it won't last and with the supporting items it may not last very long. Be real on your expectations.

What is that negative about a short filled block? It does help keep things still.
I was thinking about filling the bottom half of the block. We have tons of hard block i the shop. I was just curious if i should prolong the build and get billet mains.
Maybe check with Tony at DHD and Caleb at Blackout, both have quite a bit of experience with the manual.
