No loss to humanity. I never paid much attention to him. Thought he was someplace in the middle east where they're as warped as he was.

But I do remember him as a little kid singing "c'mon baby, show me what you can do...." with his high 10yr old voice. That cute glove. The face mask to hide his screwed up nose. News video holding his baby out over the railing of a hotel balcony....real good judgement there. News video posing on the roof of his car for cheering fans outside the courtroom.

And I remember a television thing where he was shopping in Las Vegas. They closed the store and he went through on a spending spree saying "this", "this," buying a $40,000 table here and a $90,000 something there, ran up a $million or so bill. Just overpriced stuff. A woman friend knows the owner of that LV store, told me that a couple days later Jackson had most of it returned.

I don't give a damn if he's gone. Lots of screwed up celebrities and he was the most screwed up of all.

MJ won't have the staying power that other popular musicians have enjoyed simply because with a $100 million investment today, you can just make another MJ, and there are many in the works. Just ask the folk at Walt Disney. Ask for Britney's Dept.

Chris Brown, or Justin Timberlake are pretty much new age MJ's I think. Not that I am a fan. With enough money you can make anyone sound good in a studio, just look at Paris Hilton, 1 album but no concerts because she would suck live.

What I think is annoying though is that every news station, radio station and talk show are all talking about MJ yet nothing is being said about Farrah.

haha I cant say I would compare michael jackson to britaey spears.

And I dont beleive there will ever be another michael jackson...its pretty hard to have two people in the world that messed up. :D

I still want to make it clear that I too think he is just as ****ed up as all of you do, but I dont know how people can roll off all his fame as being a farce or "he just got lucky". He was good at what he did (and also good at being a complete wierdo). He was huge way before britney, paris hilton, miley cyrus, or any of those other "fabricated" idiots of today. Is everyone seriously telling me with a straight face they have never in their entire life danced/partied to a michael jackson song? Seriously?

I guess makes me think of Hitler's situation in a far off distant way? Seriously seriously seriously messed up guy, but a that doesnt make him an unsuccessful leader of germany; you cant say he didnt leave a "mark" on the world that will never be forgotten, despite how horribly racist etc he was...imagine the world without VW Beetles. :D

hitler was an unsuccessful leader of germany. he was however a successful murder. mj was a pop singer. he did have a lot of hits, but since his last hit how many times have you heard an mj song on the radio, or seen the mj vids as top views on youtube. he is a has been that has been forgotten since the pedophilia came out. now that he's dead people have martred him. it will fade and the true feelings will be his legacy. just compare the life of someone equally successful but in a differant arena. Dale Earnhardt.

Yes John Lennon and Michael Jackson were both huge stars and both had tremendous success but Lennon never molested children! You really can't even compare the two events.

When Farrah Faucet died, she went to heaven and god granted her one wish... She wished that all the children of the world would be safe. So god killed Micheal Jackson!! :spit::rofl:

An oldie>>> What do MJ and WalMart have in common? They both have little boys shorts half off!!

I'm not the least bit bothered that he's dead. I'm rather indifferent. Too young to appreciate his music much, I heard more of the freaky stuff that made him out to be a pedophile more than I heard his music.

The south park episode with the "jeffersons" is one of my alltime favs!! :happy2:

I should probably hop in an asbestos box with 12" thick walls...

But the truth is, no one but him and the supposed "victim(s)" know if he actually ever molested any children; The hosts of the morning show that's on the radio when I go into work in the am brought up a good point: If he REALLY did molest one or more childeren do you think the parents really would've settled for money? I imagine most parents out there would say HELL NO, I want JUSTICE, not money... The fact that they settled for money puts a hint of doubt in my mind. Was he wierd? Yes. But we don't KNOW if he actually molested ANY childeren. How would you like it if you where accused of molesting childeren, where brought to trial and aquitted, but none the less, perminantly branded as a child molester even though you never did?

Please don't compare Dale Earnhardt to Micheal Jackson.

There is no conceivable comparison.
