doesn't effect me in the least. wouldn't go as far as to say I'm happy about it, bu also don't pretend to really two squirts of piss either. He was almost certainly a wacko, and quite possibly a pedophile. I have no use use or association with either so yeah, what else ya got?

Did he seriously O.D.? I hadn't heard that report yet...

Ok, I know how he shaved off his face, how in the hell did he bleach out his skin? Hoped it hurt. Kind of liked him when he was lead for the Jackson 5, but started getting weird and turned flat freaky. He could dance that's for sure. What was with that whole crotch grabbing thing? Always figured he was trying to get his balls to desend, or checking to see if he had any.

Due to the fact that Micheal jackson is 99% plastic, he will be melted down into lego blocks so little kids can play with him for a change.

For the most part, happy then sleepy is right:rofl: Unless im busy, then not so much on the sleepy part.

I didnt mind him back in the day as the King of Pop, but then he turned into a fruit loop:rolleyes:

:eek:OT: Normally, i need them while im at work, when i hurt the most. Since im normally busy, they switch me into superman! I can get some stuff done!, instead of keeling over a car fender in pain. I just hafta remind myself that the damage is in still there and to work smart. If im not doin much, they knock me out decent. Stupid back keeps me up at night or makes for poor sleep, so finally got Tizandine, and they are wonderful! 30min into one and nothing short of an act of god wakes me up! Nice deep restful sleep without hangover of brain fog;)

The L.A. Times originally posted that it was salmonella poisoning, but they rescinded their statement after they remembered he doesn't eat old meat...

wow I guess im the only person to say this/feel this...

yeah, he did have a LOT of personal issues and was flat out weird...but still, that does NOT change the fact that he was one of the most incredible musicians and entertainers in the world. I mean come on, hes been around forever and WHEN HE GETS ON STAGE everyone loves him. Not to mention, if any of you guys ripping on him can dance/move 1 billionth as well as he can, Id be impressed (as I said; NOT that that makes his wierdness off stage acceptable, but he does have some pretty strong redeeming qualities in my own stupid opinion)...how many people were performing (and were incredibly successful) at age 5, and still just as successful (AT PERFORMING ON STAGE) at age 45??

Its strange, if you had asked me two days ago "what would you think if michael jackson died?" Id probably say "I dunno, dont care", but now that its actually happened I found myself actually feeling different than I thought I would. I think thats what a lot of people feel, but are just too afraid/embarassed to admit it. (as for the deal with his skin, he has a disease called vitiligo or something like that, I looked it up years ago because everyone said 'oh he dyed his skin' and I was curious how in the hell you dye your skin, and found that he had the disease instead)

Flame suit on

once you touch a little boy none of that matters anymore. he WAS the most successful artist in the world. now his legacy is one of pedophilia, "jesus juice" and a noseless white bony face. oh well.

Whether he had a skin condition or was just loved spending millions on his personal appearance was between him and his PR staff.

Hard to feel tons of sympathy for anyone who had everything, and believed that gave him carte blanche to use children as sex toys.

I'm not much into pop music, but I've heard his music. Not unique. They just marketed it way better. Heck, the Jackson Five had their own saturday morning cartoon. It was lame, but it sold a lot of records. Yeah, the Beatles one was lame too. Only if there was nothing else on (there were only 2 or 3 TV stations for most areas) would kids watch it.

The Jackson Five and MJ were early followers of the Mass Marketed Music Approach we all take for granted now. Engineered pop stars. We aren't talking innovation, we are talking mega-buck promotion. It's not any different than building a shopping mall, and every bit as unique.

Musicians like the Beatles, Stones, Elvis, Chuck Berry, etc, actually cut new ground without demographic studies and 5th Avenue PR firms.

MJ won't have the staying power that other popular musicians have enjoyed simply because with a $100 million investment today, you can just make another MJ, and there are many in the works. Just ask the folk at Walt Disney. Ask for Britney's Dept.
