Just to open a bit your eyes ...

By 1800 bar pressure, 4000 rpm, 30 degree timing ...

you actually spray from 15 degrees BTDC and 71 degree ATDC in the cylinder and spray totally 86 degree  in there ... that a looong time of fuel going in to the cylinder which is a lot of heat.

Hmmmm..... Which injectors? What pulse width?

Not enough information provided to follow up this statement.

To say too much or too little is right or wrong depends on too many factors for proper timing. What is the boost at what rpm and fuel temperature as well as air temps into the cylinder pre-compression stroke with compression ratio....and so on. Oh ya, what is the barometric pressure ?

So why not just increase timng? 30 degrees at 4000 pending fuel shot seems rather low,No? Or am i off base here?

Then try to figure out ...

Ok, thanks.

On edit, I'll do just that. I'll use some stockers and some 10 holers.

I'll use the above guesstimates.

Looks like it will take a while to dig the 10 holers out of the scrap pile, it will be very worth this effort. I do look forward to this gratifying exercise. By the way, this will take a while as the 10 holers are not in a U.S. dumpster.

Could someone move this post out of this thread, I'd like to stay courteous to the OP. A new thread would be nice. Thank you.

No problem, you say what you want. You now have the answers, too late, the best has been installed. Too bad, you snooze you loose.

It's like this, I build a top quality toilet which cleans an a$$ better than no other. I sell it to you not really caring to tell any top secret info by mistake, and you stare at it for hours. Then you decide, after filling it with ' stinky ' you have so much money in this thing you gotta make it work even if all you have is one little caution sticker to read, just you can't understand writing. First rattle out of the box you push the only button on the toilet, happens to be by the sticker you can't read and smear, a face full of s&#t. It's supposed to be automatic all functions discreetly covered but, you hit the clog ejection button.

Moral is:

You've learned ' kind of forced ' to hate my product. I've learned a need to add a few more languages on sticker as well as add a little more info in the way of instructions. Who do you think got the worst of the deal?

As far a sending them back to you, lol you've learned enough from our struggles. And you got paid for it to boot.

You get pissed or don't answer when asked a question.

This is about the injectors you supplied for the engine I bought off Curtis. Not a (think they dont work) There were 2 duds there period.
I will send them back if you would like to reimburse me for the set I bought to replace them with. ($AUS8000) It is good to see you talking about them now though, unlike before when you wouldnt reply at all. Maybe I can send Curtis engine back too so you have alot more spare parts. It isnt much use to me at this stage :)

i went by the 4000rpm and the injectors being open for 86*

from what i came up with at 4000rpm the crank rotates .024*/Us

maybe my math is wrong

You are right 41us per degree. But the injector is not open for a wile XXXus until the hydraulic relation is made and then slowly the injectors opens, also it takes XXXus the injector fully opens. Also it takes a while until the injector closes. This values are different from stock injector to injector with an aftermarket nozzles.

Are these injectors a % larger than stock? If so, how much more?

Dumb question of the day: Isnt 3400us considered to be pushing the limit of safety in Dmaxs?
