In the aftermarket are just two CR injector builder, I call me one and the other which are really good. I bet there is none out there who provides bigger injector, who has the knowledge of the inside of the injector how it works and how much precision is in this injector. I was lucky that I worked with the inventor of the common rail system which he developed in the 60's and 70's, brought the system to Bosch in the late 80's and then he made them himself, he was my teacher and guru in all of common rail and diesel.

Oops, nozzle hole changer/driller/maker.

Here is the small pump I developed for an Ford K 1.5 Liter Diesel engine from 1998 - 2000 ... the Delphi bought Lukas from England, which there wanna hire me ... I worked on the big pump for durability tests ...

You have no clue!

Can you do something else as stirring the pot?

Show me what you ever did in you live ... diesel wise ... plug in the computer and flash it ...wow ... great job ...

Wow, my bad. I didn't mean injector builder. This thread is not about building injectors, you did not build the injectors you sent to Curtis who installed them in Micks engine. You ?'d the tips. Quit reading more into it.

Wow, I bought insurance for a diesel once.

Everything else being equal, timing is the key to controlling peak chamber pressures. I can generate insane chamber pressures with the wrong timing and little actual fuel injected.

Volker, you are telling me that with equiv total actual mm3 injected, your peak pressures went up with the shorter PW? That doesn't jive with what I have been observing with bigger sticks. At least not when tuning fo power.

With timing corrections, I find the peak on the line of pre-injector change out but the peak is less pointy and even delayed slightly.

I can't do much with fancy graphs right now (i'm on the road for business) but I will see what I can come up with to demonstrate my point.

I know, when you move the timing back I get better cylinder pressure distribution, but I really want to test 1:1 with same fuel, timing, and pressure, rpm, and see what the EGT's are doing, also the cylinder pressure increases ... just a test. we could keep the mm3 constant with the pressure constant and the rpm constant ... had higher peak pressure, higher torque less EGT's

Compared to what?

Seems the control was wrong to begin with.

whatever you say Mike! I don't need you.

PERIOD DONE!

Seems to be a typical attitude from many Suppliers to their Customers these days. Certainly doesnt seem like there is a recession on over there. I have customers that spend millions of dolars a year with me and I could never imagine myself or any of my emolyees saying that to any one of them. If they did they would be sacked. Customers pay your wages. They deserve information about a payed for product as well as respect.Thats a bad business statement right there Volker.:eek:

Like it looks, the customer makes me more headache and hes tuner. I got called a lire from my customer. He blamed me to going to Germany because you had engine issues and I had to attend a trade show? If I was your tuner, I would sit in a airplane and I would sit on your front door in 36 hours, that the service I provide. I can't tune, service or anything without to be there, thats my policy. As I get a call in the midnight on a weekend and he blamed me for that, do you that for your customer? I gave him all what I had, all my tools and knowledge and he couldn't get it right?

I'll stay on topic and wait for the injectors to arrive. I can't comment to Volker and get a response. Please don't comment to my posts Volker.

I know, you only need people to get your information for you, teach you, then you try and come up with something.

" What do ya'll know about NOZZLES "

Man o Man it's sad Volker but once I needed you. NOW I DON'T ( [insert] cheering smiley).

I'm not done. PERIOD.

Truth hurts but fact is, we deserve the information which could come from this thread. This did not start out as a bash, I got out of hand I apologize to all for that. I wont change a word however, every one meant.

My mistakes are  ing but I'll sleep well.

Thanks again for not helping. Otherwise, we would not be in great hands.

Hats off to you.
