Max Effort Tuning LB7 vs LLY

Are there any power differences in lb7 and lly's when you are talking max effort tunes?

Im aware of the engine/turbo differences but does that yield different power gains when maxxing out the stock motor?

I believe a lb7 will outrun a LLY on max effort tune only. The problem is most lb7s have lots of miles and need injectors/new cp3/refresh trans. So it won't ever truly be a apples to apples comparison.

I agree the newer trucks have a safety to keep you from bending the rods. There designed so the pistons will let go first

Most impressive truck I helped build was a simple transgo, egr blocker & one of righteyeblinds tunes... That truck runs good for no more than what we did. If you can keep pistons or a crank in the LMM there hard to beat:thumb:
