You don't wanna know how many me and my buddy have hacked up :(. You want more let me know cause there's still some out this way. Buddy just sold a nice F350 4x4 super cab with A/C. All origonal and basically one owner. two people owned it besided the origonal owner but never used it. Just bought it and stored it.

Sad to see that truck chopped up. I have a fleet of them I am fixing up...

Designed/R&D/fab done "in house" and cut out on a CNC table (have a 5'x10' table). I will have to go get some pics to send as I lost all the build pics and the "brand new finished" pics to a garage fire the computer was in... Not as shiney as it was now, but you will get the idea.

My avatar pic is the truck (rear is stock height), and some tiny 225/70R16's or something like that. What ever they were they were significantly smaller than stock. That's about 10 mins after I pulled it out of the garage for the first ride, fueling the truck up. Ended up lowering it about 2" in the front from that height (adjusted the coil overs down). That's on 12" stroke/travel coil overs too. Tight fit, but it's all in there.

I would like to see the pics as well if you dont mind [email protected]

There's finally some pictures up in the for sale section. I put a hole in a piston about a year ago. Just not time to swap in the new motor and ended up buying a new truck because I had to tow. Check the pics out there if you want.

How do they ride with leafs up front? Want to make make mine 4wd and do an sas but dont want it to ride like an old body style ford ppstroker!

Any one have any good sas pics?

They ride like shit... unless you get dealers, atlas, or alcan springs made.
I used some 56" from an older chevy.

Ahh, I take it. Your truck never sees dirt.
You did the sas primarily for the track, correct? Thought I read that earlier in the thread.
Me personally I would be hesitant with those leafs like they are.

You do realize factory ford super duty springs are negative arched like that right?

It would be to much. Clearances are very close right now.

What axle are you running? The right 60 front you can do 1" over stock height and still have 3"-4" up travel without modding the frame or pan. Takes some planning, thought, and execution, but does work. I would be curious to see a pic of a tape measure from the bottom of your fender to the locking hub to compare to how low I am.

I am stock height rear and still can run 2" lower in the front than the rear.

I think you are lower with the coils. I'm running a 79 ford axle. I'm at 40ish inches from the ground to the fender flare. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342744486.601828.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1342744508.323831.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1342744525.758279.jpg
