Any pics? Haha did it have the stock fender flares?

There's a 01/02 chevy cc/sb with 20x12 chrome fuel octanes that is lowered with tbars down and 3" drop shackles. It looks mean but he had to do lots of work to get them to fit up front. Especially on a chevy bumper

Nice looking trucks everyone.

I backed out my Tbar bolts yesterday and was wondering a good distance from the hub to fender to shoot for so a shop can still align it. I saw 21" mentioned, curious if there's a consensus on that?

ideal is to have the CV axles completely flat or just slightly negative, in a perfect world thats what to shoot for but myself im going as low as i can so i dropped the bolts all the way out completely.

I'm 2wd, so I don't have to worry about CV angles.

But wouldn't you want some angle(2-3 degrees), kinda like a U-joint needs? That way the bearing part of the CV(balls) doesn't wear in only one spot.

no need to worry about CV's then haha.

not sure about the angle for that reason, mine are slightly negative and all i care about is a straight launch.

Question for you guys... I know alot of yall drop your tbar bolts all the way down or completly out... My question is on my drivers side tbolt I have a good 5-6 full turns before the bolt would be completly out and on my pass side 2 full turns and it was able to completly come out. Will this make my truck alot more dropped on 1 side compared to the other if I were to fully remove both?

to my knowledge the actual torsion keys will bottom out on the crossmember support long before the bolts will come out, i counted my turns until the bolt became loose enough to turn by hand and they were somewhat equal ammouunt of turns. i only took them all the way out because i was afraid of losing them down the road if they were that loose :roflmao:
