I respectively disagree you spend 2500-3500+ on new injectors I would like to see them as close to +or- 0.0 as possible they are high 2's one 3 and then high negative 2's and 1's. I don't see where they are consistent they are all over the place imho. I'm not trying to start an argument here just stating what I see in the numbers posted. I agree a re-scale maybe needed to address the concern. Would still like to know what reading respectively go with what cylinder. hince the 3.4 is it on 4 and 6 like mentioned in earlier post? meaning the knocking coming from one of those injectors. gm spec of +or- 6 is why I ask it's half way on 4 of the readings either you look at it negative or positive taking or adding fuel
Spec is +/- 4 in park, +/-6 in drive. I don't believe he mentioned whether he was at operating temp, or in park or drive. Important things to know.
They are consistent 2 and 3 values across all 8 is what I meant. There isn't 1 or 2 up around 8 or so.
I get what you are saying, but this is an lly of an unknown amount of mileage so there are many factors that can affect the balance rates. Also balance rates alone are a poor way to diagnose injector health. You need to do return rate tests also and in some cases check compression right? But above all with the high rail code it will amplify any small irregularities in the injectors if the rail pressure is well above the desired for idle which is why I don't believe the injectors are of concern at this point.
What I'm saying is new or not, those numbers don't concern me as far as the knock is concerned. IMO he needs to fix the high rail pressure issue first before even considering bad injectors. FWIW my LBZ was double those numbers on average with several above 8 and I didn't have a knock at all at idle. Just a haze.
