Ok friends, have a good one on my hands. A few months ago I noticed my factory header was starting to wick and get dust collecting on it(have a cat adapter btw) so I got an o-ring kit and rebuilt it. 3rd time I've rebuilt the pos too. While I had the head torn apart I just happened to hit the primer button over a shop towel, noticed a bunch of glitter on the towel. Looked closer and it was straight metal shavings. Brake cleaned entire head and resembled. Took a picture of the towel and showed it to rob(atp) a couple days later and he said he'd never seen that other than on the cp4's. Cut open cat and both airdog filters, found no metal at all. Then a week later I noticed fuel on my frame rail, inspect and found header leaking bad. Rolled the little o-ring on the heater element and cut it during install(dumb). Truck started losing prime at this point. Rebuilt header again and no leaks. While I was in there noticed the fuel hose from header to ficm starting to wick at my hose clamp, replaced both fuel hoses on header. Ever since then it fires instantly and dies about 5 seconds in after sitting for more than a couple hours. Removed intake horn and checked valley, no leaks or wicking. Cannot find a visible fuel leak anywhere. Had to let pump run for a solid 20 seconds before starting so it wouldn't die right after. Even after letting the pump run it would surge quite a bit and act like it was sucking air until I let it run for a few minutes. Then yesterday my airdog quit altogether. Checked for power at the pump connector and it's present. So pump crapped out amd waiting on a new one. If I hit the primer a few times it firms up then after engine start it doesn't die. Think this is all the airdog or do I have something else going on? Anyone else experience this?
