Hello All

I am going to look at purchasing my first Duramax. It is a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali. It has 113,000 on the odometer.
Is there anything things I need to look at or for?
Is there any questions I can ask?

Thanks
Glen

At that mileage I'd have them check the hub assemblies on the front. I'd also have a tech check the cp4. I'm assuming it's at a GM dealer. If it's at a GM dealer I'd ask for the service history to make sure the DEF updates were done.

I have basically the same truck, but white.

Not much you can check with the CP4, from my understanding and everyone knowledgeable I've talked to it just spontaneously grenades without warning. They could pull the regulator and check the screen to be on the safe side.

I would also call the VIN into the dealer and have them pull the history, if it had a CP4 grenade and no injector replacement I wouldn't touch it.

Honestly I would shy away from a 2011, they were plagued with weird emissions issues GM couldn't seem to sort out on existing trucks. I would look for a 13+ even a 12

Issues were software compatibility with existing parts on vehicle. Otherwise a 2013 and up duramax could also have a pump grenade as well. Just want to make sure you can get it covered
