I realize that there "is" some Hollywood dramatization in the movie but as a whole Seal Team 10 were a tuff group of MEN! Just imagine or put yourself in their boots! Man they should have shot and buried those herders on the spot. Thats the problem we as a society have a conscious and will not kill the supposedly innocent! Although these individuals were not!

they didn't kill them cause they would have been charged by the military and the us govt would have pushed for them to be in the brig. If they could have gotten away with it they would have but then it would have been used by the tali ban as propaganda and turned more people against the us
Yes I'm very much aware of that they literally gave up their lives for theirs lives !

Coming from a guy that's been there it's pretty close but where I was there was no brush or trees I am thinking this was based my kaf near Pakistan boarder if I had to guess. And yes usually the officers are like that nvr can make a decision when one needs to be made under pressure. We'll what I have experienced also to keep things as a team and do what it takes to get home plan in simple right or wrong the mission was going to be a shit show. It would have made the news no matter what.
Good movie and some tuff circumstances to be in. It is a shame that our govt puts people in those situations and its all politics for them. They should adhere to the "no rules in love and war" mentality and a few more guys would make it back to their families.
