Sucks I mean no one wants to condone killing the so called innocent or kids and women but to take it away do to politics or being trashed in the media or enemy propaganda to potential jail is just wrong in circumstances they were put in . Having piss poor communication (radio transmission ) hurt them big time also. For the Taliban to respond like they did and our guys not to be extracted or given support was down right horrible plus tie their hands in the use of deadly force! All they could have done was hold them knowing that the mission was compromised until they were extracted then let them go. Is that or was it a viable option? What do I know I'm not one to judge they are well trained the best o the best.
Nonetheless sucks we lost so many good men including those in the chopper that was shot down in the first extraction attempt. One soldier killed was from my home state in the chopper.
