Do you plan to put a turbo sock on the exhaust housing, it looks really close to the valve cover. Could be the angle of the pictures.. Looks awesome though.

I'm really thinking about turbo sock's for both turbos and the hotpipe  , but like DMAXVAZ said it's really not as close as it looks.

But they still won't test your entire injector assembly to be sure that all 8 are balanced. 2000 PSI flow testing just the tips is alot different than 23,200 PSI flow testing the entire injector with a 2850 PW. You can get it done cheaper but I would rather know that when I am beating on it all 8 pistons are getting the same fuel, cylinder pressures, and cylinder temps. If you have your EGT on the driver's side and a passenger side injector flows more you won't know that a piston over there is being put through more abuse than the rest and is going to fail sooner. You get what you pay for and to each their own. I'm not knocking extrude, I've heard they do very good work and it's definately worth the cost - it's just that they don't do as much work.

May seem all fine and dandy..... until you snap a crankshaft in half from unbalanced cylinder explosion!

Here's a couple pics of the elbow I'm using for the intake of the stock turbo, and a shot of the start of the downpipe.

VERY cool!!!!! I wonder if Vaz would be willing to make/sell me one of those...? Or point me in a direction to where I can get the flange and pipe to weld together?? I really want to get rid of my mickey-mouse LLY inlet mouthpiece.

Thats how the early MPI kits were setup. It works fine, and its not plastic.

Rob ran 11's on his LLY with an early MPI kit, so I guess its another one of those "not the right way to do it, but who cares because it sure as hell works!" things...like using non-ss piping... :)
