How does the converter affect egt's?
When mine had 1 leg out the door my trans would hang shifts over 3,000 rpms and just sit there untill the TCM decided to let it shift. I was terrified when it would happen that it was going to cause my motr to pop. When it would hang shifts in my big tune the EGT would jump to 1600+ and just sit there. That could not have been good for the pistons with that much sustained heat...
