My LMM would sure take a Cheetah or 4094 if someone wants to ditch one for cheap with all these problems... lol

I'll just have Everett twin that when we're done!

Mine was laggy as hell on the stock charger. Same thing, either a rocket ship once the boost is there or a complete turd. I've driven lmms tuned by different tuners that were similar too. My lb7 even on stock tuning will JUMP when you hit the pedal. The lmm would hardly get out of its way on any tune until there was some boost.

It was actually kind of dangerous if you try and make a quick turn into traffic. You almost have to brake stand it to buid some boost so it would get out of its own way.

Thats odd, my LMM is very responsive on my tow tune and daily driver tune. clean too, very little smoke on the daily tune and almost no smoke on the tow tune but both spool very quickly.

None of the stock VVT trucks should be laggy unless you have something going wrong. They are pretty responsive in stock form, just don't have the big power hit.

I also have tuned more than my share of LMM's with Cheetah's and they have been pretty much trouble free, but are all pre 2008/LMM's. To the poster with the 07.5/LMM there is your answer, the earlier OS's didn't have these issues, as do the 2008's for the most part.

Mine runs really good! :D

If it run good on the PPE that tells me it's in the tune. I wouldn't have a dsp5 trash on a driver for nothing! I tow with the tune I run 12.15 on a stock truck. It's a 32ft enclosed trailer full of junk so it's not lite. DSP5 = tranny killer.

It's in the tune alright..........in a place that EFI-Live tuners can't get to yet.

It's being addressed........it has nothing to do with the tuning it is the DTC list and how the codes are being handled by the Bosch ECM.

There are problems with how the DTC list is populated.....now its a matter of correcting how the codes are handled by the software when told to not report........such as when you remove the IAH or IAV on a twinned truck.

It appears that PPE has resolved the way the DTC's are being reported and or shut off.

The thing that confuses me is why is this a problem on some trucks but not on others. I've tuned LMMs with the full EGR deletes and DPF deletes and not seen this problem. I haven't tuned as many as you, Tony, so maybe I've just been lucky.

Stock chargers ?

Intake Heaters still on ?

Intake Air Valves still on ?

It is hit or miss, the OS systems vary from year to year, truck to truck, the segments vary as well.

Not all OS's are the same when you look at all the individual segments.

I wish I had an answer, you will eventually come across a POS that has issues.

I have a few Cheetah LMM's that run fantastic, a ton of stock LMM's as well, but every once in a while you get an iceberg that sinks the Titanic.

:(

I'm sure between the two of you, Ross will get it figured out. Like I said, I guess I've been lucky. I hope I don't jinx myself.

Most trucks will run fine, the DIC message is what is most annoying when it displays "REDUCED ENGINE POWER".

Some will actually have a dead pedal, slow boost etc.

If you look at two truck tunes the 8594 might be the OS and the Boot Block might match, but every other segment is different, and one truck will be fine and one won't, both running the same OS but different segments for System, Engine, Speedo, etc.

So not all 8594 OS's are the same.........:(
