How can they say screw you because it was tuned. I remember seeing that the dealer must prove the modification caused the failure in something called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act...best of luck

when i done the dpf delete i went with a ppe hot plus 2 and 4 in mbrp exhaust. tried it in the 150 horse setting once but was to erratic didnt make the trans feel good. at the time of faliure it was in 40 horse and driving in a snow storm 40 mph knocked a couple times and started missin. oil pressure was good. pulled off the road and called a wrecker. motor is now out of truck looking for new LMM:thumb:

thats not good man. It doesnt seem like a tune like that would cause your issue. However, they can easily say cause it was tuned it happened. It would be a tough fight to win that one.

the dealer said the trans ecm told them that there was over 800 ft lbs of torque through it and rated for 650 ft lbs.

Can't Imagine it being tuning at those miles and power levels unless something went really wrong! You'll have a hard time proving that though! After reading the tsb's on here about "power adders" makes me like my lb7 even more! My lb7 has been through a little more than that at 200k miles

Fight it and you will not win. Last 10 codes from flashs most match up with gm's codes.

X2. Unfortunately your screwed.
How much damage is done to the engine? Can you get away with an allign bore and just a crank? May be cheaper than buying a new engine. An LBZ crank will work for you as well as an LBZ block but the top end needs to be LMM-different injectors.

We have 6 LBZ/LMM blocks at the shop. If you're looking for one ready to build I have a .020" over block just back from machining.. Line hone, with main studs, and torque plate honed.

Give us a call at 765.676.5063

I would imagine the block is FUBAR, but if not I have cranks if you need one.
