I’m from LA so I know all about CHP and their stupid ass 55 towing limit. I’m doing 80 till Blythe and then 60 all the way to LA. Must add 2 hours to my trip. Either way I’ll be happy if the truck is done without issues this morning and we’ll see how different it drives with the new turbo, tuning and hot side pipe. Looking forward to it.

Got the truck back. All seems well. Turbo has a much more pronounced whine to it that I like and the overall drive-ability is much more smooth now that the veins aren’t getting stuck and causing “surges.”

Next step when I get back is some dyno and track pulls.

Big thanks to Sean at Copperhead for squeezing me in before my trip

Have you looked for these style clips locally? That's how I mounted mine when I installed my lift recently. You can't really see it but they use a bolt through them to close them.

If not I think I found the clips your looking for. I took them off when I installed my lift recently. I still have them if you need one or all.

I’m sure you can hear the turbo now lol. Definitely a lot louder than stock or the stealth

Those look like them but the bottoms aren’t round they’re flat pop out clips for the ABS sensor line.

It did well but trailer was empty. It will be loaded down tomorrow so we’ll see.

Well fired the truck up and am driving this morning and the truck is down on power and making a very loud whirring noise. Sounds like a bad drive pressure leak. Guess I’ll be going back next week.

Well the noise is gone, there’s no turbo noise anymore and under near full throttle the truck is making .2 lbs of boost. EGTs are 1200 driving down the street empty.

No codes. Just black smoke, zero boost, zero power, black smoke, mile high EGTs and no turbo noise. Turbo either is leaking bad or siezed up. Can’t make it up any hills at more than 20MPH
