I have been out of the EFIlive game about 2 years now and recently bought an LML. I did the firmware updates and everything already (I think) and wondering if there is anything special I should know about reading/writing a LML? I will be getting my tunes from either PPEI or ridgerunner just wondering if I would flash/read exact same way as my LMM. OH and one more question efilive you have to edit tunes in V7 but the flash via V8 correct? Anything special I have to do with saving the files on SD card?

Does ridge runner do tunes for lml? I'm about sick of all the smoke never clears up on my lml with ppei tunes. I'm not kidding looks like a 12 valve.
There is no reading tunes with the LML. You are correct on tuning and flashing with V7.5/V8. Nothing special about putting tunes on your sd card. Just make sure you put them in the proper folder and have the BBx settings for the LML ECM.
Mainly what I'm wondering is if V8 is different file format than the V7, I don't think so but never know. Why don't you get with PPEi? your's is the first negative thing I have ever heard about him. I'm sure he will fix the problem. and Ridgerunner does to LML just have to see if he does delete tunes.
Yes, he does last I checked. He also sells stock tune files so you can do your own since you cannot read the lml ecm.
I bought a stock tune but full tuning is beyond me. I had some tunes from my LMM which came from rob and I tweaked them to make it better but now every single tuner locks them so I can't do anything with them. Just hope the tuner I pick is a good decision, most likely will be going with ppei.
Tony at Ridge Runner would do a great job for you... I've tried several tuners. Nothing bad to say about the others. But I love how Tony's tune shift, drive, etc. I am very picky in how my truck needs to shift and am happiest with Tony. I had his tunes on stock motor and now back in my built motor. Go with who you feel most comfortable with.
I would recommend starlite diesel or tony at Ridgerunnerdiesel. Either one are great options IMO

Something isn't right then, I have a big tune from ppei and when my turbo lights it is pretty awful clean..

X8 on Tonys tunes. Call him and he will walk you through it. His tunes help a lot with the sluggish pedal. Korys tunes suck compared to his.
And I believe Tony has one of the best retune policies out there if theres any chance you want to upgrade down the road. I know alot of tuners will charge you for a new tune if you make changes like a turbo or injectors, pretty sure hes much more reasoneable on retunes down the road.
I emailed tiny but maybe ask you guys too. Does tony do delete lml tunes? His tune selection says stock and hi performance exhaust so does high performance mean delete? Also I got a stock tune from him for $50 but it's just thays, stock and missing an ass load of tables compared to my lmm tunes. Can I get a stock tune with all the tables?
The tables are there, you just can't see them on a US based pc. Efilive restricted deletes for lml's to US customers per epa pressure, but left lmm's alone since we've had access to them already, and gave delete access to non US based users.
