Started driving the new truck a little harder over the weekend and found that it seems to have some timing rattle when matting it from a stop. Anyone else hear this with their LML trucks?

Scan it and set the timing where you need it with the fuel it's got coming with that lift pump. Something is out of wack. Change fuel filter first and change oil.
Loosen the distributor bolt, spin it clockwise to retard the timing, counterclockwise to advance, tighten the bolt back down. Done :thumb:Just how would you go about changing the timing?

I was going to suggest a colder spark plug but figured josh would shoot that down.
No, that's actually a good idea. He might want to also try switching to the SplitFire spark plugs when he changes.I was going to suggest a colder spark plug but figured josh would shoot that down.
Why not just run 91 octane? More power and less rattle
