I have a 14 lml that coming home I turned on to the the loop to get to the highway to get to my house and had no power and 7 to 8 pounds of boost and it struggled to keep speed. When I made it home just reving the engine it was only showing 2 pounds of boost. It was running fine before that and I’m gonna borrow a buddies snap on scan tool tomorrow but any advice would be appreciated. Also no codes

I’m gonna look in the morning, I thought that or the map sensor, I was just happy to make it home because I live 35 miles away from town in the middle of nowhere. Thank you

MAP sensor is my first choice followed by boost leak followed by MAF sensor. MAP and MAF are major contributors to ECM that determine engine fueling.

Truck stock or tuned?

Check the boot off the turbo. The clamps are one time use and like to loose tension, then blow that boot off

If it was maf or map, you should have codes.

Picture my man cause the cold side intercooler doesn’t go to the turbo. Only the hot side

Yes that is the cold side pipe but it is plastic and does not use boots and clamps. Has built in retaining clips.
