GT4202 is perfect for towing (Ultra fast spooling) and a GT4508 is good as well. I wouldn't run a smaller 4294 or the smaller 45 versions... S475 and S480 are a good choice as well and are cheaper than the Garrett's.

Is the y bridge missing in that picture, or I am I looking at it wrong?

I thought so because everytimeI put twins on it seems like you can't quite get a full radius elbow in. Marks bladerunner is a good deal. the oring will seal up nice.
Or you have to get a 3 inch aluminum elbow, bologne cut it and kinda open it up and weld it to a machined flange. I made a couple of them but my welding skills are kinda messy so they are just sitting around. waiting until i have a little more time to do a real clean welding job.

ok here is what they should look like to actually fit and flow air decent. I am not the worlds best welder but they don't leak
Heavy powder coating should cover up the welds

Is that a picture of the hot pipe AND charge pipe?
Reason I ask, the left one, I don't see how that would fit into the compressor housing...

As for the one on the right, if that's the new intake pice for the turbo, would you be willing to make another one, just tack welded in place?

yes the left one is for the exhaust from valley turbo out to twin charger.
The other guy got the long elbow to fit and that looks good too. But if you have an lbz/lmm i guess you would have to change to lb7/lly runners and get that lb7 bridge.
I think I paid about 60 bucks for the raw materials to make those 2 pipes
yes I can make another one no problem. I will make one tomorrow and take a picture of it. I will take my time welding it and post a pic. I need the practice anyhow, and we are pretty caught up at the shop.

(LBZ/LMM) Or just build a new y-bridge that clears your pipe... Honestly those sharp angles you are using are hurting air/exhaust flow.

Its got a scoop inside it.
The one you made really stuffs it in there great.
I have built some y bridges too, but man I can't believe you fit it. I messed around for a while trying to get a full elbow.
Maybe it was because I had a gt4094avnt I was going in to, they stick out a little further.
I agree your elbow is ideal.
I will post a pic tomorrow of the scoop its ramped in there pretty decent.

Not knocking what your doing, just letting you know it can be done. I'm running a 4094 with this same setup. The smoother the bends the better the air flow, which translate to more power and a cooling running setup.

Its all good man. Thats why we are all here to talk about this off the wall stuff and figure out what works the best.

allot of the online kits have that sharp angle too.
I think its kinda the form follows function method because that elbow you got is such a tight fit. I am still amazed you got it in there but yeah man it looks really good.

Allot of guys run the full 3" y bridges and that makes things real tight.

I think for like a wide range of applications and ease of installation you gotta deal with the sharp angle, but if you have the patience, which obviously you do, that elbow is just gonna stuff it in there nicely.

I guess also there is the argument is the air being pushed in or is the turbo sucking it in, because aerodynamics are allot different.

If you think about air being pushed beside a vaccum, the vaccum is going to assist in making the turn, so in theory its gonna pull it in regardless

BURN DOWN-
where did you get all them blue little "caps" you are using to cover the fuel rails and lines?

ALSO- has anyone with an LLY made twins while keeping the stock LLY Y-brige I/C pipe?

id like to leave mine alone if i can get away with it...

I put twins on an lly with stock y pipe outlet.
It fits but you need to move ficm to above alterantor. Fuel lines reach fine
And it does kinda push turbo close to front. The inlet of turbo needs a mouth like the one pictured
Most guys run a pipe over alternator and. Stub a 3" pipe out of the y bridge top
Which is why the straight in boost pipe with full elbow doesn't fit
I have done it 3 different ways all have their pros and cons

You have any pictures of them ways?
I'm just trying to get as many ideas in my head as possible.
If you do, you can either upload them or if you'd rather text me you can.
