Local farmer I help had 2 LLY's, and 1 LBZ with injectors replaced all under 150,000 and one lly only had 80,000

Fair enough. I'd say the 210,000 it got out of the first set was pretty impressive. A lot of LB7s still don't have that many miles.

my pheasant huntin buddy has 230,000 on his orginals..but he runs " fuel oil " ( for heating houses or something ) in his truck from what he tells me.. $1 a gallon.. I dont know if he mixes it with diesel or not.. truck has other seriouse problems..extreme head gasket leak..put new head's and gaskets on still leaks like a siv..has to change the oil every week from what i was told.
I bought my truck because I met a guy that had 450,000m on his original Lb7 and the only thing he replaced was the injectors at 250,000m (aproximatly). He said he towes all over the county and considered buying a new truck but then said "why." My Lb7 is on its originals no smoke pulls strong and has 145,000m on it with no special mods to speak of. If they do go, there is no doubt the injector design is flawwed, but i still love my Lb7 for its "emissionless" design :happy2:
