Its an LB7. If you keep it long enough, it'll happen again.

That said, buy quality Bosch remans, not Ebay specials. This is one of those "you get what you pay for" type things.

Lincoln Diesel (a vendor here) has an excellent reputation, has good customer service and is reasonably priced.

We carry OEM Bosch Reman injectors. They have proven to be the longest lasting injectors on the market. And as mentioned we try to be as competitive as we can with pricing. To make injectors last it is very important to have excellent filtration, and quality fuel. Water, air, and debris kill injectors. Also lubrication is important, so additives need to be used with this ULSD that we have now. Let me know if I can help you any further!

Damn this lb7 injector issue has me so worried for when mine let go... Thankfully they have been replaced already though!!

But for the price if lb7s it can be worth it. Especially if you can do them yourself. My lbz and Lmm never got the milage my lb7 did nor the power down low

Yeah if mine go ill tackle the job myself, but its just the money for the injectors themselves! Its crazy how expensive they are new.. Remaned or whatever

I just bought and installed a set from lincoln diesel and i am very impressed with the quality of the injectors and the fast shipping. Price was great also. Now as soon as this snow melts and the ups store opens back up i can send the cores back.

beware of the valve cover bolts all of mine were stripped on the driver side took almost 12 hours to get them all out. I replaced them with regular hex head bolts.

OK I'm new here that forum. I've had a duramax for a short period of time but I have learned a lot. So I may be wrong in this so gently steer me the other way if so.
The nightmare of the lb7 inj. Is not that bad. To fix permantly just change your filter and or.... Your filter system / pump.

The tolerance for the Bosch inj. Are 2-3 micron. And for what ever reason Chevy/GMC/Isuzu. Said well just put a 7 micron filter on. That should do the trick.
Now some of the best made inj. Have been black flag for being the problem. When it actually an engineering problem in filtration. Sorry for the overload. Ill shut up now.

No, just changing the filter often will not fix the problem but it sure will help the longevity.
