9100af cam is correct. For the fuel I contacted Rick @ Exergy & they really stepped up to give us sponsorship support. We have a set of 500% LBZ injectors & two 12mm stroker pumps here. I was concerned about tuning such large injectors with limited time so one night last week they were put in the LBZ shop truck. We now have a stock motor, stock trans & stock CP3 parts chasing truck with 500s. They daily drive unbelievably well. Talk about throttle response!

See... we are going to start seeing bigger injectors like this. 3 maybe 4 shops/tuners said my 400's are way to big you going to make less power over 350% shit like that. I bought these so I never had to upgrade again. like one guy said and I have said too. remember when 100 overs were huge and not suggested for the street? look at what we are doing now. from some of the feedback (from guys with smaller injectors) it almost seems like school yard crap and being jealous lol. good job with this build I wish I was going to make it to watch.

Thanks for the support guys! It means a lot since this is where I get my inspiration & most of my tech info. Most people that know a lot don't talk about it much unless it's in a really good tech thread or over the fender of a truck that's not doing what it needs to do.

On the 500s, I heard all the comments about losing power by going that big, yet all the guys that have ever ran or tuned such a large injector have nothing negative to say. It's definitely different tuning this truck due to the 500s & the 9200 cam. It's my first time which either of these & we have very little time for much trial & error. We'll have to figure out quick what works & work off of that.

yeah mine is as quiet as stock (underhood motor noise) until I really stand on it and pilot injection stops and then it sounds bad ass lol.

Truck looked & sounded great. Congrats!

Did you run fuel only or did you spray? I sure woulda thought those fire hoses you have for injectors would smoke more with a max effort tune loaded up.

We were hitting a limiter in the TCM tune. Ran into Kory & had him look over my tunes. The ECM was right but the TCM needed a few changes. Lots of thanks to him for taking a minute to help me out! We were spraying it but it didn't help because we had no fuel up top. Scheduled a little dyno time with Industrial Injection tomorrow to make sure we're good before we go racing. Totally pumped at how it ran though

Here's a shot before we hit said limiter. She was really trying! I ordered the exact same dyno Custom Auto had at the event so no more showing up to dyno events clueless. So worth all the long hours & money spent just to be a part of this & meet so many awesome people! Gotta love the growing diesel industry!

Been good! Ranch keeps me busy for the most part. I tried ringing you the other day but not sure if it's the right number. Good luck on the next two days man!

Yeah I bet. Never a dull moment in that line of work! Before I opened the shop I worked for an oilfield service company owned by 2 ranchers. Those guys & the ranch hands worked way more hours than the oilfield guys even when it was booming! I'll shout at you later on today if we get ready to race with time to spare.

It's actually really dumb that we left a limiter in place. No excuses for that! We're done making excuses. We need to get this thing down the track. Today should be a blast!

It's still a bad ass truck and you've got nothing to be ashamed of. The fact you got invited and made it with an 8 day build says alot

Thank you for that! It's by the grace of God that we're here. I'll share a little testimony here about how God has revealed certain things to me.

2 years ago we were invited to the NHRDA world finals for the first time. We were pumped but 3 days before we needed to leave we toasted the transmission in the truck. I was bummed to say the least. I told my wife there's no way we can go. Then I remembered I had a clutch kit scheduled for delivery the next day. I talked to the customer & sure enough he was cool with us ordering him another set & we use this kit. While all this was happening I spoke with several people about how I wasn't sure God wanted us to go. One man told me something I'll never forget. "If God doesn't want you to go, you won't go. No matter how hard you try." We'll we went. The next event rolled around & there were obstacles but we always went.

Flash forward to this January. We invited to go on the Premier Performance dealer land cruise. My wife is a Canadian citizen & her passport was expired. We didn't have enough to renew it normally but called the Canadian consulate & got a direct number to speed the process. My wife ended up getting her passport renewed in like 10 days instead of 5 weeks. In all this I got proud. So much was going right I started patting myself on the back. Big mistake. There was heavy fog in Midland so our flight was delayed. We missed our connecting flight in Houston. My 7 year old son got a bad fever sitting in the airport & wouldn't eat lunch. Then we finally our flight but it wasn't direct to Puerta Vallarta. It was to Mexico City for another 6 hour layover. That's when we ran into a problem with my son & my passport. We spent the whole night in that airport with a sick child, no laces in our shoes (still don't understand that) & a communication barrier. No one there spoke any English! In the morning we went back to Houston. No toes in the sand for us. I believe this happened because I became proud. That was the first time I didn't get to go. That statement became real to me.

So like I said, it's by the grace of God alone that we are here at this amazing event with biggest & best guys in the industry while no one even knows who we are
