so far from what I've found is around 3500. It will help us out with our equiptment also so it won't be so bad. Our drivers are ready for it though because both the twin trucks won't run over 92 mph with a load now.

The power aeromirrors that are on the 600s (mostly) or the traditional mirrors? The one we just bought had them set in to close so we put in extensions.

I love sitting in the KW, nice and big cab, not wide, but tons of legroom, and with a low seat, its nice and comfy all day.

The regular old mirrors, I always blame it on the fact that they are mounted to the corner of the cab on arms that stick straight out, instead of to the doors. Being farther away seems to me like it gives you a narrow field of vision compared to the mirrors on other trucks.

I have driven other KW's that are more comfortable than ours, but it has the huge old steering wheel that doesn't tilt and a seat that only sits straight up. It's a relief to hop out of it into the Pete or the IH. When someone says KW, that's the one I think of.

I used to have a Mack Superliner, man that thing was great! But slow.

I hate mack's

me too. they are decent trucks, but if you ever need a part its mack this and mack that. They arent component trucks like the rest. But man the old DM dump truck we had would take a beating.

We have a CH613 now, its OK. But theres no legroom in them and you have to wind the piss out of the motors to get any power.

They are the same today, mirrors on KWs are always mounted to the cab. I prefer it that way because if the door is partway open you can still see

uhh...do they drive on the autobahn?

I sure as shit wouldn't want to run near that on 98% of the roads here...and i've been pulled over 2x in a semi for speeding :roflmao:

aparently youve never driven out in the middle of nowhere such as I80 where you get passed by troopers if your not doing 90mph
