Ya if only they could ride and drive like the older Volvo we had. Dang a 2002ish T800 rides like crap and you're so uncomfortable after 3 hours I would walk if I weren't in a hurry. Looking cool isn't all it's cracked up to be, I can tell you that. :baby:

Well ya the axle is set back damn near under your ass in a t8, but that is great for vocational work turning radius wise.

now drive a w9 and you will see what luxury is.

No love for the T6's? I drive a T6 daycab w/525 c13 when I'm not in school, nice truck for sure.

My dad had 2 T8 tandem fuel trucks that he bought new, the first was a '95 and got hit by a train in '97 and repaired somehow, second was an '06 and replaced the '95. I definitely favored those trucks over his 357, just can't stand that pete clutch and their fuel tanks are a bitch to polish.....although the 357 with a lower rated (425 I believe) c12 would run circles around the T8 with a 525 C13 and same gearing/trans

That ones nice but we just bought a t800 with a 525hp n14 15spd and VIT interior for a new feed truck. Our current feed truck is an older white gmc wg64 with a 330hp m11 and a 9spd

The twin turbo acert motors are dogs, both the 13 and the 15, but then again an ISX isnt much to brag about either, the older 3406s and N14s just had plain raw power and low end grunt.

Hmm...cows bitching about the current speed of service, eh? That'll make a nice, fast feed truck.

Ya but long noses don't work for excavating and farming in day cab's where turning is really a necessity. In a Volvo you can have it all and a detroit series 60. Hello fuel economy. Cat $100.00 Cummins $90.00 Detroit $80.00. Same loads same weight same truck same trans same day. Give me a detroit.

Anyone else have issues with KW mirrors? I can't see out of them very well. They are a fine automobile but if it's a day cab, give me a Pete or even a Mack. I don't have the perfect posture required to sit in a KW all day.
