All pitman/idler arms should have 0 movement in any direction other than just spinning inside the cup. PPEs setup won't allow any movement other than letting the bolt spin unless something is very damaged

interesting. I can tell you first hand that Rare's will move in every direction with no resistance.

interesting. i would not want to use it then.... if the Idler is taking ALL the load, it should be double sheared, no if/ands/or/buts about it, doesnt matter what idler arm you put on it either. a person should also be running a super steer or kryponite idler arm support as well with a welded/bolted in brace. that is an extreme amount of load to put on one steering part.

and maybe that's why my Ultimate Idler ultimately failed, lol. I have the Rare pitman! It's also interesting that Rare tried to buy my Ultimate idler from me and trade me their idler arm, I passed. Maybe I need to get it the heck outta there
