What? what school did you go to?

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that commemorates the Battle of Puebla. In like the mid 1800s when Mexicans beat the french in the battle. :thumb:

Pretty sure it wasnt a 'corona' sponsored war lol.

where did YOU go to school, yeah it might represent that battle, which they won, but they lost the war, and so it is not their day of independance, which is what they try and say it is.:thumb:

go look around on the interwebby thingy and tell me corona had nothing to do with promoting cinco-de-mayo into what it has become today. how many people do you know that dont drink on cinco-de-mayo?:thumb:

Really? I believe we started calling ourselves Americans right before the revolutionary war:thumb:

They were still all immigrants. I was just stating to vrabel because he said that the legal aliens were a problem, when if they are adopting an american way of life, they should be allowed to join in as thats how everyone got here in the first place. I dont think you want to play history and political science with me :thumb:

What, of course they are a problem..... They aren't adopting an American way of life, it is now a crime to be white.

If you know so much about history then you should know why the country was started and what it was/is founded on.

There is a difference between a flag and a picture of flag.

You can light your BBQ with a newspaper flyer of a 4th of July sale, and you could line your birdcage with it.

You should not take a flag, and make clothes with it.

A T-shirt with a picture of a flag on it, is not a flag.

A red, white, and blue bandana is not a flag either, nor is a tablecloth.

Now, is a Peter Fonda "Captain America" jacket disrespectful? That will always be a debate.

I agree 100% with what you say here. My post is to say, first prove it was/is a flag by the definition I posted my response to.

I dint say they won the war or they celebrate there Independence...

I said the commemorate the battle. They have been commemorating it since the mid 1800s man. Maybe corona stepped up and decided to use it for marketing, and worked, but the day truly is a commemorative day. Cinco de Mayo has nothing to do with there Independence, you said that. You also stated corona made up the holiday, which is hard to do for a company that is not around in the 1800s.

Cinco de Mayo is not a national holiday in Mexico. It's a regional holiday celebrated in the state of Puebla as Mike said...

At the rate of legal and illegal aliens entering this country........Aug, 2013 will be designated "White History Month".

Won't happen. We WHITES have too many holidays designated for US as it is. Almost the whole year as a matter of fact. This is according to all the other people that think all whites are racist. And you are right. If white people try to have something that is just for whites. Then we would be called racist. But yet, all the other races can have their own things. Colleges, Magazines, Holidays. And it's considered as fine. Personally, I think all CITIZENS should be treated EQUAL.
