Cant believe I waited this long to get EFI . Pretty cool to say the least . Im still as green as it gets , but loading tunes and the how it all works is coming to me some . Had to make a few calls to get them loaded and now I get how that works . When I said I was potty trained ... I lied , I was only to pull-ups . :baby:
Id like to get a bunch of high hp tunes for the kodiak . And find the right one for daily race driving .
Tested a pretty macho tune just now . Was incredible shifting and some serious power . Good thing for head studs . :cool2: That was some serious cylinder pressure for sure . EGT were about 650-700 on frwy cruising . Never seen that before . That was impressive . Im usually at 850-900 minimum on my old race tune cruising on frwy at 70 . This tune had more HP than my ppe10 . Felt very similar to the tune i use to run back when the kodiak ran 9.50 efi but with a little more even . It might be just a hair to much for the weight . A decent rattle down low stomping it with no brakes from a stop or slow roll . But other than that Wow !! A little power brake or roll on it and hold on to your hat . Pulls like a frieght train . A good full on race tune , but maybe not as friendly on the street for quick throttle jabs down low .
The shifting is really clean as hell on these hot tunes . Im impressed with that alot . Funny my ppe10 wasnt to happy at all lately shifting and kept having really bad habit form . To load a different hot tune and have beautiful shifting is nice . Different on both , but really nice ,and with no relearn on either. The first one was not enough power for me for hot tune but shifted like clock work and really smooth , almost didnt even feel it . I was impressed . Was a little more conservative .The second was huge power with a tad less street happy characteristics with good clean shifts . clicked them off good .
Now to ck out some tow tunes .

One important thing on tunes for the kodiak is that the 75mph speed governor is killed . I didnt ck first tune , but second was no governor .
I wish there was a way to erase the gov file out of ECM completely .

Mine does the same when the pilot injection turns off.....I don't think our puny computers can have pilot injection on above a certain RPM.
Watch the EGTs on the Dyno tune I sent ya.....I set the boost lower to keep the heads on the block. Otherwise, it would blow right past 40Lbs in just a few seconds.
hahaha , Im not worried about the heads , I am more worried about bending a rod .

Other than a tow tune for the big trailer , I only know race tunes . Im kinda stuck on them . A little signal to signal is pretty common for me around here . I like the big suprised look on the little cars and trucks faces at the next signal . WTF !!
For me running and cking out tunes and how they drive and then looking at the differences in them tells me a little about what makes what and what #'s are causing certain effects . I know this is only the beginning , but thats what I have been doing . Im having a hard time not running this race tune with low egt's . Im still on it just babying it around . I really like the low egts . I keep having to check and make sure the truck is even running the egt's are so low .
Send me anything , Id like some of my green brothers to get involved .
I guess I should send them a stock file from my truck .
