I’ve done it both ways to be honest. 6 with good frictions and thick steels seems to be the most consistent for me and provide a little better shift quality.

7 works great too but it’s a bit of a pain to do.

Right, I've done 7 with slotted frictions but never the solids. I don't really care for thin steels either, and it seems the 067 kolene is hard to get

I agree.

This C3 oiler is for a customer with Fleece lines which is why it's on the "to cooler" line. When I've temp gunned cooler lines the delta between "to" and "from" is usually ~8-10F so minor delta (in my experience). I want to put a temp probe in each line for giggles to see what the fluid delta is but it's minor enough that (to me) it doesn't matter. Any fluid is better than zero fluid to the C3 pack haha.
