If it’s just for cooling and more lubrication couldn’t you just plumb in an auxiliary pump fed off the pan?
In theory Evans kit will supply cooler fluid since it comes off the return line of the trans line so its been air cooled where as the pressure port feed is probably hotter fluid since its higher pressure. Evan and I have talked about cooler line pressure and he tested it back when i was doing the cooler testing for mishimoto i got him one and he tested pressure and was a fraction of what mainline was.
Anyone care to share what size orifice to use with an oiler pulling from the main tap? Was going to just buy one but Inglewood hasn't shown them as being available for a long while.
That would be sweet. If you don't want it public you can PM meI have the drawing somewhere. After Mike passed another forum member who is a machinist measured his.
That said I make kits myself for our comp builds with -4 line off the return port.

I saw that picture on the book of faces. Do you modify the bolt hole into the case? Or just make sure it's open

Yes I realize it SHOULD be open, wasn't sure if Brad or anyone else did further modification. Never had an L5P case in my hands, but I believe that's when the PTO area changed? On the pto cover? It should be open. It’s not a blind hole
Are you squeezing 7 plates in the c3 pack for the competition builds or sticking with 6?It’s an open hole. I forget specifically when they quit drilling it all the way through but overall it’s a throughole.
I refuse to pay $250-$350 for something I can make for half. Sure I charge for my labor when I build them (comp builds get them no charge) but I’m not at $250.
