Intercoolers

Jeff whats your opinion on the intake and intercooler piping . What does work and what doesn't . My only reason for doing all the intake and intercooler piping is to keep my stock engine together longer with cooler air its not really for the power gain ( if any is gained ) . Do you think the manifolds and up pipes will be enough .

I put a Banks on my truck for the same reason. I didnt see a drastic drop in EGTs during towing but I did notice it took more to get it to those higher levels when underload. The intercooling piping seemed to help about as much as the intercooler did. The Banks unit is nice I will agree that has to be one of their better pieces of hardware, end result is its your truck and it wont hurt it if you want an intercoolers. Thats just my .02 cents, but I also only see my truck 6 weeks out of the year if I am lucky :roflmao:

IMO unless you have big air its a waste of money. Now if you want to see a differance then go to a air to water. Then you will see something. Jeff
